Bantul (MTs Negeri 6 Bantul) — The Principal of MTs Negeri 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, conducted a direct review of the First Phase of the Preparation and Strengthening for the Regional Academic Competency Test (PP-TKAD) held at MTs Negeri 6 Bantul in the Computer Laboratory on Thursday (November 6, 2025).
The First Phase of PP-TKAD is an important program designed to prepare students for the upcoming regional-level academic selection. This program aims to assess and strengthen students’ fundamental skills in key subjects such as Mathematics, Indonesian Language, English, and Science.
During his visit, the Principal observed the implementation process in each room, including administrative procedures, infrastructure readiness, and teachers’ involvement. He also gave directions and motivation to the students, encouraging them to participate with sincerity and enthusiasm. “The PP-TKAD activity is a crucial part of the madrasah’s effort to improve students’ academic quality. We want to ensure that the entire process runs smoothly, effectively, and truly supports students in facing the test with the best preparation,” he stated.
In addition to monitoring the activity, the Principal expressed his appreciation to the supervising teachers and committee members for their dedication in preparing the materials, schedules, and orderly implementation system. The First Phase of PP-TKAD at MTs Negeri 6 Bantul was participated in by all Grade IX students. Through this program, students are expected to become more familiar with test formats, enhance their critical thinking skills, and build self-confidence ahead of the actual Regional Academic Competency Test.
With the Principal’s direct supervision, it is hoped that the implementation of PP-TKAD Phase 1 at MTs Negeri 6 Bantul will run even more optimally and provide maximum benefits for all participating students. (wji/put/ewh)
