Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — A lively atmosphere colored the discussions during the Training on the Implementation of the Outcome-Based Curriculum (KBC) and Deep Learning held at Wisma Sargede, Jl. Pramuka Kav 5F, Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta, on 14–15 November 2025. The two-day program was attended by 56 teachers and staff of MTsN 6 Bantul and featured Muhammad Miftahul Falah from the Semarang Religious Training Center (BDK Semarang) as the main resource person.
In his opening remarks, the Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed appreciation for the clarity and comprehensiveness of the material delivered by the speaker. He noted that the structured and practical explanations successfully encouraged participants to engage more actively. “The systematic and applicable presentation from the speaker has boosted our teachers’ enthusiasm to take part in discussions. This is essential for improving the quality of learning at our madrasah,” he stated.
The training aimed to strengthen teachers’ competencies in applying the KBC learning model, which emphasizes concrete learning outcomes, as well as introducing deep learning approaches to foster higher-order thinking skills among students. The speaker provided a range of implementation strategies, from assessment design techniques to instructional steps that stimulate analysis and creativity.
The training atmosphere remained dynamic throughout the sessions. Participants actively asked questions, exchanged ideas, and engaged in small-group discussions to solve case studies related to KBC and deep learning implementation. The resource person also presented relevant classroom scenarios, making it easier for participants to understand the application of the concepts in real teaching practice.
At the end of the program, Sugiyono expressed his hope that the training would bring tangible improvements to the teaching and learning process at MTsN 6 Bantul. He emphasized the importance of teachers’ consistency in applying the knowledge gained. “I hope the results of this training are truly implemented in the classroom and bring positive changes for both our students and the madrasah,” he concluded.
