Bantul—Matsanaba, on Thursday (January 22, 2026), an Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) was installed in the MTsN 6 Bantul Library as a learning service facility and to support various literacy activities. The installation of the IFP is part of the madrasah’s efforts to provide technology-based facilities in order to create a more modern, engaging, and interactive learning atmosphere for students.
MTsN 6 Bantul received a total of four IFP units. Three units were placed in classrooms, while one unit was specifically allocated to the library. The presence of the IFP in the library is expected to strengthen its function not only as a reading center but also as a hub for learning activities, discussions, and the development of students’ digital literacy.
Students warmly welcomed the new facility. They expressed their excitement because learning now features clearer and more interactive visual displays. In addition to supporting classroom learning, the IFP in the library is also used for group viewing of educational films, literacy presentations, and the screening of inspirational content that encourages reading interest and student creativity.
The Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his appreciation for the introduction of the Interactive Flat Panel in the library. He stated that this facility reflects the madrasah’s commitment to improving the quality of education and literacy services. “We hope this IFP will be used optimally by both teachers and students, so that the library becomes a more vibrant, innovative, and enjoyable learning space,” he said.
One ninth-grade student, Tsabita, shared her joy and enthusiasm about the IFP in the library. According to her, learning has become more exciting because materials can be presented visually and interactively. “Learning is no longer boring. Now we can watch learning videos together with friends in the library,” Tsabita said with a cheerful smile. The presence of the IFP is expected to further increase student visits and positive activities at the MTsN 6 Bantul Library. (ewh)
