Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — MTsN 6 Bantul once again held the Regular Ahad Kliwon Religious Gathering (PERAK) on Sunday, January 25, 2026. The routine activity took place at the MTsN 6 Bantul Musala and began at 7:00 a.m. WIB. The gathering was attended by all members of the madrasah community and also invited parents of students as part of an effort to strengthen communication and togetherness between the madrasah and families.
The PERAK activity opened with a speech by the Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of synergy between parents and the madrasah in guiding and educating students. According to him, the formation of students’ character and morals cannot run optimally if it is only borne by one party. “To create students who are well-mannered, ethical, and responsible, strong cooperation is needed between parents at home and teachers at school,” he stated.
Sugiyono also conveyed that the role of parents is very strategic in supporting the educational process, whether through the habituation of positive attitudes, strengthening religious values, or supervising children’s learning. Through the PERAK activity, the madrasah hopes to build shared understanding and commitment in accompanying students’ holistic development, aligning education at home with education at the madrasah.
The Regular Ahad Kliwon Religious Gathering (PERAK) is a routine agenda of MTsN 6 Bantul, held periodically as a means of spiritual development and strengthening social bonds. By involving parents, this activity is expected to become a positive communication space and to further strengthen the relationship between the madrasah and families in creating a religious, harmonious, and sustainable educational environment.
