Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — Students of MTsN 6 Bantul continue to carry out the routine practice of performing the Dhuhr prayer in congregation as part of the school’s program to strengthen religious character. This daily activity is one of the madrasah’s key efforts to instill discipline, devotion, and a genuine love for worship among its learners.
On Thursday (13/11/2025), the students once again gathered at the school’s prayer hall (musala) to perform the Dhuhr prayer together. As soon as the call to prayer was heard, students walked in an orderly manner toward the musala, demonstrating discipline and commitment to the routine that has long been nurtured within the school environment.
The congregational prayer that day was led by MTsN 6 Bantul’s Indonesian language teacher, Nur Hidayat Santoso. With calm guidance from the imam, the students followed each movement of the prayer with focus and humility. Their sincerity and orderly behavior reflected the success of the madrasah’s continuous effort to build strong spiritual habits.
Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his appreciation for the students’ consistency in participating in the daily congregational prayer. He emphasized that such practices are essential in shaping students’ character. “The Dhuhr congregational prayer is not only an act of worship but also a training ground for discipline, togetherness, and moral integrity. I am proud to see our students performing it with devotion,” Sugiyono stated.
Through this routine, the school hopes to cultivate students who are not only academically capable but also possess noble character and a deep appreciation for worship. The madrasah is committed to continuing religious programs that strengthen students’ spiritual foundations and encourage them to maintain good habits both inside and outside the school.(mfh/ewh)
