Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — The board of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) Pleret Branch held a coordination meeting to discuss preparations for the 2025 National Teachers’ Day (HGN) celebration. The meeting took place on Friday (October 17, 2025) at SD Brajan and was attended by board members from the Pleret sub-district.
The meeting was led by the Chairperson of PGRI Pleret Branch, who emphasized the importance of synergy and togetherness among all members to ensure the success of this year’s celebration. Various agendas for HGN 2025 were discussed, including the installation of flags and banners, a healthy walk around Pleret, and the main HGN celebration at the Bantul Regency level, which will be held at Pantai Baru.
According to the Chairperson of PGRI Pleret Branch, Siti Zunaroh, National Teachers’ Day serves as a meaningful moment to strengthen teachers’ spirit of dedication and professionalism. “Through the HGN activities, we hope to rekindle the sense of unity, solidarity, and commitment among teachers to advance education in the Pleret area,” said Zunaroh.
The meeting proceeded enthusiastically and concluded with the formation of the organizing committee for HGN 2025 in Pleret. All participants expressed their commitment to working collaboratively to ensure that the event would be festive, meaningful, and a true appreciation of teachers’ service and dedication. (sps/ewh)
