Bantul – MTsN 6 Bantul has taken a significant step in improving its educational facilities with the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new Library and Laboratory building. The event was marked by the symbolic laying of the first stone by the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Yogyakarta Special Region, Ahmad Bahiej, on Thursday (August 21, 2025).
In his remarks, Ahmad Bahiej emphasized that the new building represents the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ commitment to providing quality education services. “The library and laboratory are two essential facilities that will support the creation of a smart, religious, and competitive generation. We hope this project will run smoothly and soon benefit the students of MTsN 6 Bantul,” he said. Bahiej also reminded all parties involved to ensure that the construction process adheres to the set targets in terms of time, quality, and transparency.
The Principal of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his gratitude for the support from the Ministry’s Regional Office. “This new building is expected to become a center of literacy and science development for our students. With representative facilities, we are optimistic that the quality of learning in our madrasah will continue to improve,” he stated.
The groundbreaking ceremony was solemn and full of hope, witnessed by officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, local leaders, the madrasah committee, community figures, as well as teachers and staff representatives of MTsN 6 Bantul.
With the start of this construction, MTsN 6 Bantul reaffirms its commitment to innovation and development, not only in academic achievements but also in providing proper educational facilities for its students. (ewh)
