Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Bantul held a staff meeting as an initial step to prepare for the implementation of the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Thursday (January 2, 2026). The meeting was attended by all teachers and education staff as an effort to align perceptions and strengthen the madrasah’s readiness to face the new semester.
The meeting was led by the Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs, Rina Herawati, M.Pd. In her presentation, she outlined several policies related to learning strategies, schedule arrangements, and the distribution of teaching assignments to ensure that the teaching and learning process runs optimally and in accordance with regulations.
Rina Herawati emphasized that teachers who have not yet fulfilled the minimum teaching load of 24 hours will be assigned additional subjects in accordance with curriculum policies and the Head of Madrasah’s decisions. This policy was implemented to ensure an equitable distribution of teachers’ workloads while maintaining effective classroom instruction.
On the same occasion, the Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, S.Pd., stressed the importance of improving the quality of learning in the even semester. He stated that the success of the madrasah largely depends on the cooperation, discipline, and commitment of all educators in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
In addition to discussing teaching assignments, the staff meeting was also used to evaluate the implementation of the odd semester, formulate plans for extracurricular activities, and develop strategies to improve student achievement. Through this meeting, MTsN 6 Bantul hopes to conduct the even semester learning process in a more structured, effective, and sustainable manner. (sur/ewh)
