(Bantul – MTsN 6 Bantul) – The P5 Team 2 of RA MTsN 6 Bantul carried out a real action activity as part of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum on Friday, September 19, 2025. A total of 185 ninth-grade students from classes IX A, B, C, D, E, and F enthusiastically participated in the half-day P5 program.
The activity began with a presentation from a culinary practitioner who served as the main speaker. This time, P5 adopted the theme of entrepreneurship, aiming to equip students with practical knowledge and skills in running creative business ideas. Students were encouraged to learn how simple ingredients could be transformed into innovative culinary products.
Representing the Head of Madrasah, Vice Principal of Curriculum Rina Harwati emphasized that the P5 program reflects the concrete application of students’ knowledge in real-life situations. According to her, entrepreneurship-based P5 not only builds skills but also strengthens student character.
Each class, guided by their respective facilitators, worked diligently to create pudding-based dishes decorated with colorful fruit toppings. The process required collaboration, precision, and creativity, providing students with a meaningful hands-on learning experience.
The final products were assessed based on creativity, aesthetics, teamwork, and responsibility. Through this activity, students not only showcased their talents but also demonstrated the values of hard work, innovation, and accountability, in line with the spirit of the Merdeka Curriculum. (ewh)
