Bantul – Seven students of MTsN 6 Bantul (Matsanaba) were officially inaugurated as Garuda Scouts of Bantul District in a solemn ceremony at Pendopo Komplek Pemda II Manding on Wednesday (20/8/2025). The inauguration was led by the Regent of Bantul, Emi Masruroh, who acted as the ceremonial Scout leader.
The event was attended by all participants with enthusiasm, including scout leaders, teachers, and parents who gave their full support. Representing MTsN 6 Bantul, the school principal who also serves as Kamabigus (Head of Scout Unit), witnessed the historic moment directly.
The seven Matsanaba students who were inaugurated as Garuda Scouts were Tsabit Nur Rosyid, Kinanti Awahita Putri Ires, Arroyan Fitri Arofah, Alin Nur Aini, Bunga Maulidyah Putri, Rossa Nur Amalia, and Fawwaz Satria Mandala. Each of them has successfully met the qualifications and requirements to achieve the prestigious Garuda Scout rank.
Principal of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his pride in the students’ achievement. “This is an extraordinary accomplishment. Being inaugurated as Garuda Scouts proves their dedication, discipline, and persistence. I hope this achievement will inspire other students at Matsanaba,” he said.
