Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — MTs Negeri 6 Bantul has officially introduced the GEMBIRA Teaching Module, an acronym for Gerakan Mengajar Bermakna, Inspirative, and Conscious Learning, as a new instructional innovation aimed at enhancing student achievement. The launch was announced during a morning assembly held on the school field, attended by all students from Grades VII to IX, as well as teachers and staff.
The assembly at the beginning of the year was led by the Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs, Rina Harwati. In her address, she explained that the GEMBIRA approach is designed to create a more meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable learning process while fostering students’ learning awareness. She expressed optimism that the method would encourage active and inspiring classroom interactions.
The GEMBIRA method emphasizes interactive, creative, and joyful learning experiences. To ensure effective implementation, all teachers at MTsN 6 Bantul have received training on integrating the module into daily teaching and learning activities.
Meanwhile, the Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, highlighted that GEMBIRA reflects the school’s strong commitment to continuous improvement. “Maintaining achievements is more challenging than attaining them. Through GEMBIRA, we aim to sustain academic excellence while nurturing students’ character and learning enthusiasm,” he stated.
The morning assembly concluded with the slogan “Matsanaba Dicinta di Hati,” symbolizing unity and dedication to building a beloved and high-performing madrasah. With the implementation of the GEMBIRA Teaching Module, MTsN 6 Bantul is confident in moving forward toward sustained excellence.(fn/ewh)
