Panca Cinta Chant Enlivens KBC and Deep Learning Training at MTsN 6 Bantul
Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — The Implementation Training for the Curriculum Based on Love (KBC) and deep learning held at Wisma Sargede, Jl. Pramuka Kav 5F, Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta, on 14–15 November 2025 was filled with enthusiasm and positive energy. The speaker from BDK Semarang, Muhammad Miftahul Falah, energized the session by leading the “Panca Cinta” chant, which emphasizes five core values: love for Allah and His Messenger, love for oneself, love for others, and love for the homeland. The two-day training was attended by 56 teachers and staff of MTsN 6 Bantul.
In his opening remarks, Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed appreciation for the participants’ commitment throughout the training. He stated that this program is an essential step in improving teaching quality at the madrasah. “The enthusiasm shown by our teachers reflects their strong dedication to enhancing learning practices,” Sugiyono said.
The training aimed to strengthen the teachers’ understanding of the KBC concept, which highlights compassion-based education, while also introducing deep learning strategies that promote higher-order thinking skills. The speaker delivered comprehensive material, including assessment design, instructional planning, and motivational methods rooted in humanistic values.
The atmosphere remained lively as participants actively joined the Panca Cinta chant led by the trainer. Their energetic responses brought warmth and excitement to the training environment. In addition to group discussions and material presentations, participants were guided to reflect on how the values of love could be integrated into classroom practice.
At the conclusion of the training, Sugiyono expressed hope that the insights gained would bring meaningful improvements to teaching and learning at MTsN 6 Bantul. He emphasized the importance of consistent implementation of both KBC and deep learning principles. “We hope this training inspires real classroom application, helping us nurture a generation that is intelligent, compassionate, and full of love,” he concluded.
