Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) –The de’Talenta Library of MTsN 6 Bantul continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to supporting quality education at the madrasah. On Tuesday (August 26, 2025), the library enriched its collection with more than 500 new non-textbook titles, ready to be utilized by both teachers and students.
The newly acquired books cover various essential subjects, including Indonesian Language, English, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. All titles were carefully selected from reputable publishers known for their high standards of content and printing quality. Although the books are relatively expensive, their value is considered equal to the quality they provide. Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his hopes that the new collection will significantly enhance the learning process.
“The books that have been purchased should be utilized well. Even though we already have supplementary materials, this collection can serve as a broader reference for both students and teachers,” he stated.
According to Sugiyono, high-quality books are essential in shaping excellent human resources at the madrasah. Beyond serving as academic references, the collection is also expected to foster students’ literacy skills, critical thinking, and broaden their knowledge across various disciplines.
With the addition of these new resources, the de’Talenta Library further strengthens its role as a modern learning hub. The library is envisioned not merely as a place to store books but also as a space that nurtures a culture of literacy and inspires the learning spirit of the entire madrasah community. (ewh)
