Bantul (MTs Negeri 6 Bantul) — The Administrative Staff (TU) of MTsN 6 Bantul once again demonstrated their vital role in managing the madrasah’s financial administration. On Tuesday (November 5, 2025), the atmosphere in the de’Talenta Library was filled with focused activity as staff members carefully calculated the revenue from Hilal Canteen, the madrasah’s flagship healthy canteen.
Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his appreciation for the TU staff’s accuracy and dedication. He emphasized that Hilal Canteen plays an important role not only in supporting the school’s financial system but also in promoting students’ healthy eating habits. “The canteen provides balanced, nutritious food options that align with our commitment to fostering students’ physical and mental well-being,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Laela, the canteen’s treasurer, was seen meticulously counting stacks of cash and recording data from shopping coupons used in daily transactions. The coupon system, implemented to limit direct contact with money, has proven effective in fostering honesty and simplifying the monitoring of purchases made by students and teachers.
“Alhamdulillah, the results show a positive trend. This month, Hilal Canteen’s total turnover reached a significant amount,” Laela shared with a smile. “It indicates that our healthy food program continues to attract strong interest from both students and teachers.”
Transparency and accountability remain key principles in managing Hilal Canteen’s finances. With the support of diligent TU staff and the guidance of the madrasah’s leadership, the canteen continues to grow as a model for a healthy, well-managed school business unit that benefits the entire MTsN 6 Bantul community.
