Bantul (January 2, 2026) — MTs Negeri 6 Bantul has begun finalizing preparations for the development of the “Gembira” Lesson Plan (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran/RPP) as a strategic step toward the 2026 Academic Year. The program reflects the madrasah’s commitment to delivering learning experiences that are enjoyable, meaningful, inspiring, and mindful, while remaining student-centered.
The preparation of the Gembira Lesson Plan was carried out through coordination meetings and discussions among subject teachers on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Computer Laboratory of MTs Negeri 6 Bantul. The activity aimed to align learning plans with students’ characteristics, the demands of changing times, and current educational policies. The Gembira RPP is designed to emphasize active, creative, and collaborative learning, while also strengthening character education and religious moderation values.
The Principal of MTs Negeri 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, stated that the implementation of the Gembira Lesson Plan is expected to create a positive and conducive learning atmosphere. According to him, a joyful learning environment will make students feel more comfortable, motivated, and enthusiastic about participating in classroom activities. “Enjoyable learning will help students better understand the material and develop both their academic and non-academic potential,” he said.
Furthermore, teachers are encouraged to integrate various innovative teaching methods, utilize diverse learning media, and wisely apply educational technology. Learning assessments are also designed to be more humanistic, with a stronger focus on the learning process and students’ achievements.
Through the preparation of the Gembira Lesson Plan, MTs Negeri 6 Bantul remains optimistic about improving the quality of learning in the 2026 Academic Year and realizing a child-friendly, inspiring, and high-achieving madrasah. (zae/ewh)
