Bantul — Matsanaba organized PERAK (Pengajian Rutin Ahad Kliwon) on Sunday, December 14, 2025, as a platform to strengthen intensive communication between the madrasah and parents. The regular religious gathering took place at the Alhikmah Mosque of the madrasah and was attended by parents, teachers, and members of the school community.
The event aimed to foster closer collaboration between the madrasah and families in supporting students’ character building and learning development. Through PERAK, the madrasah seeks to create a shared understanding that education is a collective responsibility requiring continuous dialogue and mutual support.
The religious talk was delivered by Nadhif Masykur, who emphasized the vital role of parents in their children’s education. He reminded attendees that educating children should not be fully entrusted to the madrasah alone. Parents, he said, must remain actively involved, show genuine care, and consistently monitor their children’s growth and development both at school and at home.
According to the organizing committee, PERAK is expected to serve not only as a spiritual forum but also as an effective medium for strengthening partnerships with parents. By nurturing strong communication and shared commitment, the madrasah hopes to create a supportive environment that enables students to grow academically, morally, and emotionally.(ewh)
