Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — Teachers of Matsanaba MTsN 6 Bantul began the learning activities with an inspiring morning discussion on Monday (January 5, 2026). The session served as a forum for sharing best practices in implementing enjoyable, student-centered learning.

The discussion was facilitated by two subject teachers, Fauka Nurul and Rusmiyati, who presented creative and interactive strategies for teaching English and Mathematics. The activity aimed to build a learning atmosphere in which students feel comfortable, enthusiastic, and happy.

Fauka Nurul stated that enjoyable learning is key to fostering students’ interest in learning. “Our main goal is to make students feel happy and enjoy the learning process so that the material can be more easily understood,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Rusmiyati added that various methods are applied to create dynamic classroom learning. “We make use of educational games, storytelling, and interactive activities to ensure that English and Mathematics lessons are more engaging and less monotonous,” she said.

The Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, appreciated the initiative and emphasized that enjoyable learning aligns with the GEMBIRA innovation continuously promoted by the madrasah. According to him, this innovation encourages teachers to deliver learning that is joyful, meaningful, and has a positive impact on students’ character development and competencies. (sur/ewh)
