Bantul (MTs Negeri 6 Bantul) — In an effort to deepen understanding and enhance teachers’ competence in preparing for the Regional Academic Ability Test (TKAD), English teachers from MTsN 6 Bantul attended the MGMP (Subject Teachers’ Forum) for English teachers of MTs in Bantul Regency on Tuesday (November 4, 2025). The event, held at MTsN 1 Bantul, was attended by around 30 English teachers from both public and private madrasahs across Bantul Regency.
The activity featured an experienced speaker, Endang Triningsih, Senior English Supervisor from the Yogyakarta City Education Office. In her presentation, Endang Triningsih provided an in-depth discussion on the test blueprint and strategies for the 2025/2026 TKAD English. Participants enthusiastically followed the session, which included sample questions and assessment techniques aligned with current learning needs.
Through this activity, English teachers are expected to broaden their understanding of the direction and structure of the upcoming TKAD questions. Moreover, the forum served as a platform for collaboration among educators to design more effective classroom teaching strategies. The lively discussion and Q&A session reflected the participants’ enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting to curriculum changes and educational policies.
The Principal of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his positive appreciation for the teachers’ participation in the event. He stated that teachers’ involvement in forums such as MGMP demonstrates the madrasah’s strong commitment to improving teaching quality. He also hoped that the insights gained from this activity could be applied optimally in the classroom to directly enhance students’ achievement.
With the implementation of this MGMP English program, the spirit to continuously strengthen teachers’ professionalism has become more evident. Through the deepening of TKAD material, teachers not only enrich their own competence but also foster collaboration and solidarity among madrasahs for the advancement of education in Bantul Regency.
