The Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs of MTsN 6 Bantul, Rina Harwati, took part in the K2MTs DIY meeting, which featured a workshop titled Creating Excellent Schools in the Digital Era: Strategies and Learning Innovations for Today’s Madrasah Teachers. The event was held at Grand Selera Hotel, Sleman, on Tuesday (18/11/2025) and was officially opened by the Head of Madrasah Education Division of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kanwil Kemenag DIY), Sidik Pramono.
In his remarks, Sidik emphasized that technological development is something that can no longer be avoided. He noted how the pandemic shifted old norms—madrasahs that once prohibited students from bringing mobile phones now encourage their use for learning. He added that in the future, education may no longer require physical classrooms, as technology increasingly supports remote learning. “We must be ready to adapt,” he stressed.
Anita Isdarmini, Head of Team 1 for Curriculum and Student Affairs, also delivered updates regarding the revision of KMA 450 to KMA 1503, which was introduced at the event. She explained that the new regulation does not replace the previous one entirely, but introduces several adjustments. She further stated that a circular outlining activities needed for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year would soon be issued. Anita also reviewed students’ achievements in the OMI competition, highlighting the need for better early preparation and improvements in input, process, and output stages.
The main speaker, Dedi Ardiansyah, Director of Klasmart Education, presented material on technological solutions for modern education. He explained that Klasmart provides an integrated “All in One Solution” that supports planning, implementation, and evaluation in a structured and measurable manner. According to him, students do not necessarily need to bring mobile phones, as classrooms can be connected to students at any time through platforms facilitated by teachers to enrich interaction.
Dedi further noted that the system promotes deeper learning by integrating experiences such as understanding, applying, and reflecting—packaged into a single unified platform. This approach aims to align learning processes with the demands of a rapidly evolving digital age, ensuring that madrasah teachers and students remain well-prepared for future challenges. (rin/ewh)
