Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — The Head of Administration of MTsN 6 Bantul, Nur Latif, participated in a Coordination Meeting on Strengthening the Integrity Zone (ZI) held at the Integrated Hajj and Umrah Service Center (PLHUT) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Bantul Regency, on Monday (17/11). The meeting was attended by the Head of the Administrative Subdivision, Heads of Sections, program coordinators, Heads of Religious Affairs Offices (KUA), as well as Heads of Administration from MAN and MTsN across Bantul Regency.
The event was opened by Aminudin, Head of the Administrative Subdivision of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in Bantul. In his remarks, he emphasized that developing the Integrity Zone is essential for establishing a bureaucracy free from corruption and improving public services that are transparent, accountable, and efficient. He also highlighted several challenges commonly encountered in ZI implementation, including internal resistance to change, high public expectations, misuse of authority, corruption practices, discrimination, and weak oversight. Other obstacles include insufficient planning and inconsistent execution of ZI programs.
These issues became the main focus of discussion during the coordination meeting. The outcomes will serve as references for the Integrity Zone Monitoring Team of the Bantul Ministry of Religious Affairs when conducting evaluations at madrasahs, ensuring that all units share a common understanding of ZI governance and are equipped with practical solutions to their challenges.
Agus Yunianto, Administrative Analyst and member of the Integrity Zone Team at the Bantul Ministry of Religious Affairs, shared insights related to recurring issues in uploading ZI evidence, such as the prohibition of uploading folders within other folders. He encouraged madrasahs to be more thorough and engage in frequent communication to ensure that uploaded evidence complies with regulations and does not cause future problems.
Nur Latif, Head of Administration of MTsN 6 Bantul, stated that the meeting was highly valuable in strengthening ZI implementation across all work units. “Today we joined the Coordination Meeting led by Mr. Aminudin, focusing on reviewing and reporting obstacles faced by each unit, particularly those related to scoring and evidence completeness in each working group through the PMPZI application,” he said. He added that through this coordination effort, all units—including MTsN 6 Bantul—are expected to enhance evidence readiness, improve service quality, and reinforce their commitment to achieving the status of Corruption-Free Zone (WBK).
