Bantul (MTs Negeri 6 Bantul) — Safety and comfort of madrasah facilities remain a top priority at MTsN 6 Bantul. On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, members of the Administrative Staff (TU), together with the Vice Principals of the madrasah, were seen working hand in hand to repair the main glass door of the De’Talenta Lib Library, which had experienced technical damage.
The glass door, serving as the main access point for library users, was reported to have problems with its hinges and door closer, requiring immediate attention to prevent potential hazards for visiting students.
The Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, stated that the prompt response reflected shared responsibility in maintaining state-owned facilities.
“We acted quickly through coordination between the Administrative Staff and the Vice Principals to immediately fix and tidy up the glass door. Public facilities such as the library must always be ensured to be in excellent condition, both in terms of functionality and safety,” said Sugiyono.
At the same location, one of the Vice Principals who directly participated in the repair explained that the work included readjusting the glass alignment and reinforcing the supporting bolts that had loosened due to long-term use.
“We are ensuring that the door functions smoothly again. This step is crucial to avoid the risk of the glass getting stuck or breaking. The safety of the madrasah community, especially children who enthusiastically visit De’Talenta Lib, is our top priority,” he said during the repair process.
The independently conducted repair by the madrasah’s internal team demonstrated a strong spirit of mutual cooperation within MTsN 6 Bantul. The Administrative Staff promptly prepared the necessary technical equipment, while the Vice Principals supervised the repair process to ensure compliance with building safety standards.
With the completion of the glass door repair, services at the De’Talenta Lib Library have now returned to normal. Students can once again access the literacy space more safely and comfortably, in line with the madrasah’s ongoing efforts to maintain every aspect of its educational facilities. (atk/ewh)
