Bantul — Grade VII students of MTsN 6 Bantul enthusiastically took part in the Friday–Saturday Camping Program (Perjusa), held on December 12–13, 2025, on the madrasah grounds. The activity involved all Grade VII classes, namely VII A, VII B, VII C, VII D, VII E, and VII F.
The Perjusa began with a tent-pitching session carried out in a lively atmosphere marked by strong teamwork. From the outset, students showed high enthusiasm as they divided tasks within their respective groups. Under the guidance and supervision of scout instructors, they worked together to set up poles, tie ropes, and arrange tent equipment in an orderly and coordinated manner.
Scout instructor Kak Yusuf explained that tent pitching is a crucial component of the Perjusa program. According to him, the activity is designed to train basic scouting skills while also fostering independence, discipline, and a sense of responsibility among students.
Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and solidarity demonstrated by all participants. He emphasized that scouting activities play a strategic role in shaping students’ character. “Through Perjusa, students not only learn scouting skills, but also develop values of togetherness, independence, and cooperation that are essential in daily life,” he said.
With the successful and orderly completion of the tent-pitching activity, the Grade VII Perjusa at MTsN 6 Bantul is expected to provide meaningful experiences and instill positive scouting values for all students. (kzn/ewh)
