Bantul – MTsN 6 Bantul held a coordination meeting with the Success Team for the Academic Ability Test (TKA) to discuss the implementation of an independent tryout for students on Wednesday, March 11. The initiative was designed to make productive use of the school holiday period while helping students strengthen their academic readiness.
During the meeting, participants discussed various technical aspects of the tryout, including the schedule, the examination system, and the mechanism for evaluating the results. The independent tryout is planned to be conducted online using the Jogja Madrasah Digital (JMD) platform.
The organizers explained that holding the tryout during the holiday period is intended to keep students actively practicing their academic skills, particularly in preparation for the TKA. In addition, the program is expected to provide students with an overview of the types of questions and the exam format they will encounter later.
Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs at MTsN 6 Bantul, Rina Harwati, also outlined strategies to ensure the tryout runs effectively and delivers maximum benefits for students. The results of the tryout will later be used as an evaluation tool to assess students’ level of understanding and to determine further academic guidance.
Through this program, MTsN 6 Bantul hopes that students will use their holiday time for meaningful activities and become better prepared for the Academic Ability Test. The independent tryout initiative reflects the madrasah’s commitment to improving educational quality and supporting student achievement.
