Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) – All teachers and staff of MTsN 6 Bantul took part in a major professional development event led by the Regent of Bantul on Saturday (October 11, 2025), held at Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul. The gathering was attended by educators from elementary and junior high schools (SD/MI and SMP/MTs) across Bantul Regency, with the aim of strengthening enthusiasm and professionalism among educators within the Bantul local government.
The event began with a lively group exercise session, filled with energy and togetherness, serving as both a moment of unity and a way to promote physical well-being among teachers. Following the exercise, the Regent of Bantul delivered a motivational address, encouraging all participants to continue their innovation and commitment in improving the quality of education in Bantul.
In his speech, the Regent emphasized the crucial role of teachers as the front liners in shaping the character of the younger generation. He also urged all educators to strengthen collaboration, enhance competencies, and uphold integrity in carrying out their noble duties.
The Principal of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his appreciation for the event. “This development program is a significant moment for all teachers and staff of MTsN 6 Bantul to renew their enthusiasm for work, strengthen bonds among fellow educators, and support Bantul Regency’s vision toward quality, character-based, and competitive education,” said Sugiyono.
The event concluded with the presentation of the Main Category Child-Friendly Regency (KLA) trophy to the Head of DP3P2KB Bantul by the Regent of Bantul. (put/ewh)
