Head of MTsN 6 Bantul Commends the Active Role of the Bantul Regency Indonesian Language MGMP
Bantul (MTsN 6 Bantul) — The Indonesian Language Subject Teachers’ Forum (MGMP) for MTs in Bantul Regency, held on Tuesday (January 6, 2026) at the Computer Laboratory of MTsN 6 Bantul, received appreciation from the Head of MTsN 6 Bantul, H. Sugiono, M.Pd. The activity was attended by Indonesian language teachers from various madrasahs and served as a strategic platform for strengthening teacher competence and fostering inter-teacher collaboration.
In his remarks, the Head of MTsN 6 Bantul stated that the Indonesian Language MGMP is one of the most active MGMPs in Bantul Regency and has been able to generate positive impacts, both on teachers’ professional development and on the overall improvement of learning quality. According to him, the consistency of MGMP activities reflects the strong commitment of Indonesian language teachers to continuous learning and innovation.
Furthermore, H. Sugiono, M.Pd. described the Indonesian Language MGMP as a teachers’ working group that moves swiftly in implementing its programs and demonstrates well-prepared planning. The readiness of the organizing committee, effective time management, and the seriousness of the participants were indicators that this MGMP is professionally managed and oriented toward improving the quality of madrasah education.
This appreciation is expected to motivate the Indonesian Language MGMP for MTs in Bantul Regency to maintain and even enhance the quality of its activities. Through strong synergy between madrasahs and the MGMP, Indonesian language learning in madrasahs is expected to become increasingly high-quality, adaptive to the demands of the times, and to have a tangible impact on improving students’ competencies.
