The Hilal Canteen of MTsN 6 Bantul continues to play a vital role in providing daily meals for 580 students and 56 teachers and staff. With a wide range of menus offered, the canteen has become an essential part of the school environment, ensuring that everyone has access to nutritious and affordable food during school hours.

Since 2022, the Hilal Canteen has been striving to achieve the standard of a nationally recognized school canteen. Various improvements have been made in terms of management and service, with a strong commitment to providing safe meals free from the so-called “5Ps”: preservatives, coloring, artificial sweeteners, flavor enhancers, and harmful additives.

MTsN 6 Bantul Principal, Sugiono, expressed his full support for the canteen’s transformation efforts. According to him, the presence of a healthy and well-managed canteen is in line with the school’s mission to promote students’ well-being and learning achievement.

In managing daily operations, the Hilal Canteen is coordinated by Fauka Nurul, who has prepared a wide selection of healthy and innovative menus. One of the signature items is the “Matsanaba lunch box,” a nutritious meal specially designed to meet students’ energy needs throughout the day. (12/09/25)
