Bantul (MTs Negeri 6 Bantul) — A warm and enthusiastic atmosphere filled the Al-Hikmah Prayer Hall of MTsN 6 Bantul on Sunday (November 9, 2025). During the Regular Ahad Kliwon Study (PERAK) with the theme “The Challenge of Educating Children in Today’s Era (from the Qur’anic Perspective)”, a total of 563 parents, teachers, and staff attended the event, which was held in the form of a Parent Meeting.

Starting at 6:00 a.m., the event ran solemnly and meaningfully. Due to the high enthusiasm of participants, many parents even had to sit outside the prayer hall. This reflected the strong concern and commitment of parents toward their children’s education and character development, especially amidst the rapid challenges of the digital age.

The Principal of MTsN 6 Bantul, Sugiyono, expressed his gratitude for the successful organization of the event. “We are very thankful because this activity is not just a religious gathering, but also serves as a platform for communication between the madrasah and parents through the homeroom teachers. This synergy is essential so that education at school and at home can run in harmony,” he stated.

Beyond being a moment of togetherness and spiritual strengthening, the event was also expected to raise awareness that educating children today requires patience, deep understanding of modern developments, and role modeling based on the values of the Qur’an.

With a strong spirit of collaboration, the PERAK activity at MTsN 6 Bantul not only strengthened the bond between the madrasah and parents but also reinforced their shared commitment to nurturing a young generation that is intelligent, noble in character, and ready to face the challenges of the future.
